Marriage is a blessing from God!

God created the marriage relationship.

But sadly for a lot of people marriage isn’t a blessing, but rather a curse!

That’s not the way it’s supposed to be. But the devil has a way of perverting, twisting, and getting married couples to believe his lies.

So what can we do? If we want our marriages to be a blessing and not a curse, it begins by first trusting God.

After all, he is the architect of marriage. His way is always the best way!

Can I get an Amen?

We know that but we don’t often live what we know.

One of the biggest challenges in marriages is with communication. As you speak to your spouse today think on this: Are you fussing or are you fixing?

I had a conversation with someone about something and was told, “I’m not trying to fuss but rather to fix” the particular issue. I loved that language. That’s the mindset all of us should have. That changes everything.

When an issue arises at home and you begin to battle (oops I mean talk) with your spouse, ask yourself, “What are my motives? Am I just wanting to fuss about something, or am I trying to fix the issue?”

Asking ourselves this question could defuse a situation before chaos ensues!

This is easier said than done. Emotions get high. When that happens, everything changes, and often for the worse.

Are you FUSSING or FIXING?

Do I really need to break down the difference between the two? It’s pretty apparent when we’re fussing as opposed to fixing. Let’s not be naive.

Marrriage is a blessing! It’s great especially when both parties come to the table determined not to fuss, but to fix!

Fix your marriage before it’s too late.

Do not be deceived by the devil!

God is not mocked…We will reap what we sow. Sow a lot of fussing, you will have a terrible marriage. Sow a lot of fixing, and life will be good.
