Hi Y’all! It’s Friday. Woohoo.
I can remember growing up how awesome Fridays were for me. One of my Uncles would always bring Chips Ahoy, Donuts, and Kool-Aid for me and other kids my grandmother babysat. That was the beginning of my Free Days, and I didn’t even know it.
The weekend is here. It’s time to finish strong. While we can be begin to slow down (which is good) there has to be a distinction between setting ourselves back and resting so we’re primed for even more success.
Finish Friday! Finish the right way.
- Enjoy time to rest and recover.
- Keep the same sleep schedule if you can. Lots of research out there showing the benefit of doing this, so Monday isn’t super tough.
- Review the week and make a list of 3-5 Wins for the week. If you have more, fantastic.
- Get a sheet of paper, make a line in the middle. On the left side write “What energizes me?” On the right side write, “What takes energy away?” Then make a list of what’s currently energizing you and vice versa. This simple exercise done everyday will help you to double down on habits that help you to excel. Note (Credit to Coach Rich Litvin. I learned this listening to his podcast).
