I’m thinking about my brethren who have lost everything.

I’m thinking about all of the families and people I don’t know who have lost everything.

I’m thinking about a man named Job.
Do you know Job? If you don’t, you should!

You see he went through STORMS!!!

He was a good man…

He loved God…

He loved His Family…read Job 1:1-5.

Yet the storms of life came hard…

They flooded his soul…

They didn’t stop…

They just kept coming.

He lost his wealth in a instant!

He lost all of his children!

He would lose his health.

From the appearance of it, it seems that he may have lost his wife’s support, Job 2:7-10. But to be fair, his wife also lost her security, children, and almost her husband.

Yet Job did something shocking…

Before…

During…

After…

The storm.

Do you know what he did? He worshiped God.

Job 1 shows Job worshipping God before the storms hit.

Job 1 also shows Job worshipping after receiving heart wrenching news about his family.

While Job had many questions and struggled during his flood of suffering, he remained with the Lord.

At the end of the book, when the flood waters of suffering receded, we find that Job was still worshiping God.

So many are hurting. So many are fighting (some for their lives).

So many…Are…in the midst of a storm.

What do you do when there’s nothing you can do?

We can be like Job and Worship! We can keep our eyes on our Savior.

Before the storm we should worship…

That will give us the strength to worship Him in the midst of storm. When the storm is over, we will have even more reason to worship Him!

Sadly, storms will come. But one thing must remain the same. Our worship to our King.
