31 Days. 31 Chapters. 31 Days of a Proverb.

Have you read the book of Proverbs in the Bible? If you haven’t, you’re missing out.

If you missed Proverbs one, here it is for you.

Below is a thought from Proverbs 2:1-2

“My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding…”

As Solomon spoke to his son, he certainly wanted him to hear. He wanted him to consider his words. There’s one word I want us to consider. That word is “IF…”

Solomon had plenty of wisdom to impart to his son. But his son had to listen. The same is true with respect to God. God has provided us wisdom through His word. But we have to listen. Wisdom is knowledge that is applied. Many have knowledge, but many don’t apply. Let’s LEARN and LIVE not LIVE and LEARN.
