There’s POWER in SUBTRACTING. I’ve been doing a lot of subtracting.

I have stopped consuming 5-hour energy. I confess I was addicted. This consumption was connected with a drive of doing MORE, MORE, MORE. The last few years I have hit the pause with my caffeine consumption. After looking at how much I was spending with this addiction, it motivated me even more to stop. Since I started working for Gold’s Gym in college, I’ve been on some kind of energy drink. It’s time to stop.

I have DELETED my Facebook account. Been off for over a month. Yep, that’s right.

My Deep work laser-like focus is returning. No Facebook, No Instagram. I’m telling you, it will do wonders in your life. I’m looking for more stuff to do because I have so much more time. Try it for 30 days if you dare. You will enjoy it.

I just hit the pause button on Hulu and Netflix. I have a feeling these next six months are going to be epic. I had this same surge and feeling back in 2016 which eventually led me to creating and writing a number of books along with a great physical transformation.

I’m not even watching the NBA Finals. Between video clips on Foxsports and ESPN, I can keep up with everything that happened, without spending 2-3 watching. Entertainment has been consuming too much of my time.

There’s great power in SUBTRACTION. The title of this blog is “New Blogging Schedule.” Beginning today, I will blog between Monday-Friday.

The weekends I’m taking off. Why?

  1. To recharge my batteries.
  2. So you don’t get TIRED of me, lol.
  3. Because sometimes less is more.
  4. More time to contemplate what I want to say.

I don’t necessarily stick to one blog post per day. Depending on how I feel or a thought that comes to mind, I may do two or seven. When I read a great post from someone else, I don’t want to sit on it. I want to share. So if you’re reading this, keep posting fantastic content and I will share it.

Thank you for your time and for reading my blog. It really does mean a lot to me.

Please comment or share different things you have subtracted which created a positive result for you.

I CAN DO…SO CAN YOU.
