This is article #18 by JaneEllen.

John 14:15 says, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”

We show our love for one another in a variety of ways: hugs, kisses, smiles, gifts, phone calls, cards, etc. The verse above says the only way to show God the love that we have for Him is to do what He says to do.

Do you know what God wants you to do?

A friend of mine once said that God gives us everything we need, to do His will, and He expects us to use every bit of it. God doesn’t keep us guessing how to do His will because Hebrews 13:20-21 says, “Now may the God of peace…equip you with everything good that you may do His will…” The Bible is God’s will. In its pages are what He wants us to do. Reading God’s Word is how we learn what He wants us to do. The more we read; the more we learn.  The more we learn; the more we know to do.

Read your Bible every day. Do what God wants you to do.  Show God how much you love Him.

Until next time, I remain with a song in my heart.  JaneEllen
