Podcast Recommendation: Deep Questions with Cal Newport.
If you are looking to become more productive with less stress, check out Cal Newport. If you’re looking to focus on work that really matters, check out this podcast. I began reading Cal’s books back in 2016. His book Deep Work is one of my favorites. Cal talks a lot about slow productivity and the benefits of it. Here is the Podcast link below.

What I’m Reading.
The Story of Marvel Studios: The Making of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This has been a great read. It is two volumes. For those who are interested, it will give you great insight with how the first 10 years of Marvel Studios Movies came into existence. Very fascinating.

I would love to hear from you about what you’re listening to and reading!
Have a great week. Remember that Jesus loves you very much.
I Can Do…So Can You.
Right now I’m reading Ducks, Newburyport. I’m 200 pages in and want to quit, except my nephew gave me this book. I feel compelled to finish it for the sake of conversation with him. 787 pages to go. 🥲
Whoa! That’s a lot of pages. What’s it about? Thanks for sharing!
Yes! I prefer much shorter books and more plot. This one is about a mother of four, who runs a home-based pie business. The majority of the novel is stream of consciousness from her perspective, so the reader is left to piece together her story between her loosely-connected thoughts. There’s a sporadic parallel storyline about about a mama mountain lion and her cubs. It won awards in 2019 and has avid fans on Goodreads…but takes patience.
Very interesting!
