It’s June first! Wow. The year is moving by fast.

That’s something we probably say a lot throughout the years. Yet we have the same time each year. What often changes is how much we fill that time up with appointments, extra work, procrastination, and other habits that can cause us to feel like there’s no time.

I’ve been guilty of that, have you?

We can often feel like we need to start over, especially at the beginning of the year, month, week, or day.

But what if we just decided that we weren’t going to keep starting over. What if we just decided to pick right back up the habits or rituals we were doing? Now, maybe someone is thinking, “That’s essentially starting over.” Maybe it is. But what I’ve often seen is that the very idea of starting over can be exhausting. We may not be that far off as we think we are. If we take the next step and just do the next right thing, there will be no need to continue to start over constantly.

  1. We don’t have to START OVER with our meal plans/diets. Just make the next best decision.
  2. We don’t have to START OVER with our exercise regimen. Just take the next step to go on that walk or to pick up those dumbbells.
  3. We don’t have to START OVER with a brand new website. Just a few tweaks and adjustments to make it look and run better.

Maybe we should change our language. Maybe we should change our perspective. Maybe we should just take the next right step, action, and decision and keep moving forward.

Would love to hear your thoughts.

I Can Do…So Can You!
