Jesus Wants Us to Follow Him (John 1:39, 43)

In John 1, Jesus says, “Follow Me.” He says it to those He knew—flaws and all. Peter, impulsive and bold, was called. The Samaritan woman, scarred by shame and social rejection, was called in John 4. And Nathanael, though doubtful, was invited to see for himself.

Jesus sees your past, your mistakes, your questions—and still says, “Follow Me.” That’s grace. He doesn’t demand perfection before relationship. Instead, He draws us closer by meeting us right where we are.

Don’t let doubt or shame keep you at a distance. Come closer. Follow Him. Obey Him.
