Jesus Knows Us Personally (John 1:47)
When Jesus saw Nathanael, He said, “Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is no deceit.” Nathanael was shocked. He asked, “How do You know me?” And Jesus answered, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
This wasn’t just a supernatural moment—it was a personal one. Jesus knew where Nathanael was, what he was thinking, and who he was deep down. That should humble and comfort us. God sees us in our quiet moments, our doubts, our fears, and our failures.
Whether we feel forgotten like Joseph in prison or overlooked like a nameless servant, God knows our name. He sees our potential and invites us to walk in transparency and trust.
