He Shows Us Greater Things (John 1:50-51)

Nathanael was amazed that Jesus knew he had been under a fig tree. But Jesus responded, “You will see greater things than these.”

What greater things? Miracles. Teachings. The resurrection. Heaven opened. Jesus was inviting Nathanael into a journey of faith that would blow his mind.

The same is true for us. When we follow Jesus, we’re not just invited to a better life—we’re invited to an eternal one. Heaven rejoices over every soul that turns to God (Luke 15:10), and names are written in the book of life (Philippians 4:3).

Don’t chase the spotlight. Chase the Savior. He knows your name—and He’s inviting you to see greater things.
