The Secret Source of Courage

Here’s the truth: Courage isn’t something we manufacture on our own.
When God told Joshua to be strong and courageous, He didn’t leave him on his own to figure it out. He pointed him to the real source of strength—God Himself.
In Joshua 1:7–9, we see a formula for building courage:
- Observe God’s Word.
- Meditate on it day and night.
- Obey faithfully.
The Word of God is fuel for our inner resolve. The more we store up His promises, the stronger we become when trials come.
God even gave Moses a song in Deuteronomy 31—a spiritual anchor to encourage the people. Why? Because God knew the challenges ahead would test their hearts.
You don’t have to dig deep within yourself to find courage. God offers it freely through His presence, His promises, and His power.
Start today with one Scripture that reminds you He’s with you. Meditate on it. Write it down. Post it where you’ll see it. Let it become your well of courage.
