Follow the Breadcrumbs: A Preacher’s Journey

Sometimes we don’t see the full path until we look back. I never imagined all the places God would take me — or how many small breadcrumbs would eventually lead to full-time ministry. But they were always there, one step at a time.

🔹 The Early Hints
• As a kid, I was already reading verses out loud. I didn’t know it then, but God was training my voice and planting Scripture deep in my heart.
• In my junior year of high school, an English journal entry revealed a dream: “I want to preach in far away places.”
• While in college, I recorded radio commercials for our church — not realizing this was early preparation for podcasting and public speaking.

🔹 The Long Pondering
• In my 20s, I preached from time to time. I led Bible studies, taught classes, and served — without holding a formal title.
• For 8 years, I wrestled: Should I do this full time? I was already doing the work… but the call hadn’t fully crystallized yet.

🔹 The Leap of Faith
• At 30, I entered a two-year preacher training program. By year two, they asked me to stay — and I did, for 6 more years.
• During that time, I helped with preacher bootcamps, mentoring and training others.
• I began preaching in faraway places: Africa. Mexico. God had honored that journal entry.

🔹 The Expansion
• I moved to Lewisville, TX to preach independently — a new chapter, and a new learning curve.
• I wrote a book specifically for preachers — sharing what I had learned.
• I was invited to speak at a preacher conference in Brooklyn — and have returned to teach there multiple times.

🔹 Multiplication
• I led my first 2-year preacher development program (2023–2025).
• I’m now preparing to launch a new 1-year program this fall.
• My podcast, The I Can Do Podcast, now reaches people in 78 countries — spreading God’s message farther than I ever imagined.
