I’m feeling a sense of calm and appreciation as I type this.

I was figuring out what I wanted to share with you as this will be last blog post for the considerable future. I will not say I will never do another one, but after 824 blog posts, it’s time to take a step back.

I first wanted to say thank you! There are many blogs, podcasts, and platforms to follow. Thank you for following me and allowing me to be able to send you words of encouragement the past seven years pertaining to Faith, Family, Fitness, Food, and so much more.

Thank you for the comments you’ve made, the text messages you’ve shared with me, and all the encouragement along the way.

I first purchased my wordpress blog I believe in 2009, but did nothing with it for a number of years. I’m thankful that I finally decided to take decisive action in 2017 and to begin blogging. There are certainly better blogs that are out there, but that’s not the point. The fact that I started and continued for seven years is what really matters. I made some mistakes along the way.

I moved from WordPress to another host for one year that was a big mistake! I lost a lot of momentum and audience with that decision.

I wasn’t always consistent with when my blog would be sent out. Oops!!!

But mistakes are how we learn, right? Or at least one way to learn.

I can remember how excited I was to share my thoughts to people around the world. It’s been cool to see how many of my blogs have been read around the world. I will always treasure that and being able to encourage people to become better.

There is a great deal of content on my website, www.benjaminlee.blog. I encourage you to check out the resources, books, clothing, and podcasts that are available.

As I type this last post I have great clarity of what’s happening. It’s taken some time to get here and a lot of back and forth. I’m thankful for my friends who have given me clarity (You know who you are) along the way!

I’m saying thank you and goodbye to a lot of things.

  1. I’m off Facebook after almost 15-years. There’s been a lot of back and forth and you can read a lot of my blogs on social media. It’s been like a job at times with respect to social media. That sounds more like a bad thing as it’s been a job that didn’t pay financially. It does for some, but it didn’t for me. Yet, there were plenty of awesome experiences and connections I made throughout the years. It just seems sufficient now. Facebook is gone as is Linked In, and Instagram. You will not find me on Twitter (X), SnapChat, or TikTok. I’ve said goodbye to those a long time ago. My Youtube channel you can find on my website has my podcast interviews on my website if you so choose to. You can find other blogs and sermons where I preach at www.westmaincoc.com
  2. I’m saying goodbye (at least for a while) to Life Coaching. I will always do some kind of coaching. I got certified in 2017 and didn’t really do much with it until COVID hit. I’m glad I was able to help people in their lives. I’m currently doing Preacher Coaching with a young man who has been working with me for the last year. That’s been fantastic. We call it our Preacher Development Program. He’s doing great work. The last three years I’ve done some more preacher coaching in Brooklyn New York. I will always do some kind of coaching! I have one client currently for life coaching which is sufficient.
  3. I’m saying goodbye to Ultraspeaking Coaching (at least for the time being). It’s been an amazing run over four years of coaching with an amazing group of people and helping people around the world!
  4. I just published my last I Can Do Podcast for the foreseeable future. After 238 Episodes and 43 guests, it feels right to take a break. I was actually thinking about doing it earlier this year but decided to keep on going. I’m glad I did. My “After the Amen Podcast” is still ongoing with Myles Hester as we discuss our sermons each week.
  5. I currently have 13 published books on Amazon, along with about 15-16 workbooks that I’ve made throughout the years. I’ve created another Journal called “Arise and Build” that walks you through the book of Nehemiah. The book of Nehemiah in the Old Testament is a fantastic book! I have created enough journals and books (for now)! I may publish that, but I don’t have a sense of urgency as I once used to with getting books published. I should probably edit it even more and sit on it longer.
  6. I have been able to speak in various settings throughout the past seven years (Podcasts, Fitness Camps, Faith Based Summits, and a college as well). I don’t have anything lined up like these. If more opportunities come available I will filter them through my current goals to see if they align.

There are many activities I’m still saying “Yes” to!

In a few months I will hit 15 years of preaching full-time. WOW! What a blessing. I didn’t know how long this would last, but I’m so thankful that 30-year old Ben decided to take the risk and give it a shot. I’ve been preaching in some shape or form for over 25 years! This has been so encouraging to me and to others as well.

I’m still preaching when opportunities present themselves across America and the world. This has been such an amazing experience. I am thankful.

I’m doubling down on playing Pickle Ball. I played in my first tournament a month or so ago, and will be signing up for another soon Lord willing.

Family and Fitness are always two big priorities in my life. I continue to love to travel and would like to add more Pickle ball to my travel as well. My life is truly overflowing with blessings.

Thank you so much for supporting all things I CAN DO! That’s been my motto going back to 2010 and will continue to be. I Can DO…SO CAN YOU! YOU CAN DO!

Stay strong and keep trusting in the Lord. He loves you very much and so do I. Here are a few partying gifts to check out.
