I can’t remember when I first fell in love with reading. Maybe it was in grade school. I don’t know. I do remember going to the public library as a child, especially during the summer months. We didn’t have a lot of money, and it was a safe environment, where I could learn and stay cool.

I loved the Genius Book Of World Record Books. I couldn’t get enough of how long someone’s fingernails were! Ha. I continued to read a lot in high school and college. Looking back, I wish I had kept a record of all of the books I read.

I still love to read. What about you? What are you currently reading? I have a number of books I need to finish up.

The Index Card: Why Personal Finance Doesn’t Have To Be Complicated by Helaine Olen and Harold Pollack

Paul For Everyone: Romans Part 1 and Part 2 by N.T. Wright

One Simple Idea: Turn Your Dreams Into A Licensing Goldmine While Letting Others Do The Work by Stephen Key

There’s more I could list, but this is good for now. Reading is great. You can travel to the past and to the future. You can learn things to create a different kind of future. Reading is a way of absorbing what others have studied for decades. What’s the point? Read. And read a lot. It’s way better than television and social media. It’s worth the time. We all have the time to do it.

I’ve added a “Book Recommendation” on my website. Check it out and let me know what you think, or if you read any of the books or have read some of them. I’m going to be adding to the list on a regular basis. I’ve been thinking about making my own library. I have a number of books I would like to give away. Then I just decided to make my library on my website. I will be listing books that I either have extra copies of or simply no longer need. If you want one of them just let me know and I will send it to you.

Make today a great day. And be sure to read!
