Life is all about having the right attitude. In life, one needs to have an I CAN DO mindset.
Throughout the month of April, I will be sharing some resources with you that I think will benefit you and help you to Do Even More. Be sure to check out my page where I have shared some other things that help me.
I think it’s safe to say that we all want to improve in life. We want to be successful. We want to excel in the things we do. We want to Excel Still More. In fact, the idea of excelling is Biblical in nature. In the first century, there was a great church in the city of Thessalonica. I quick read of the apostle Paul’s two letters to them and you will see that they were doing a lot of things right. Their faith was strong. It’s even more impressive when you consider how the church began (hint: Read Acts 17: 1-9). While these Christians were doing really well, Paul said something very interesting to them.
“Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more.” 1 Thessalonians 4:1.
Did you catch it? Paul said, “Excel Still More” They were to continue to grow. We all have room for growth.
With that said, I would like to recommend a new podcast called “Excel Still More: The Practical Christian Podcast” by Kris Emerson. I am friends with Kris and we worked together a few years ago in Beaumont Texas. His new podcast has been a nice encouragement for so many people, and I think it will certainly be one for you as well. You can check out his podcast here.
You can find his website here.
Kris discusses a variety of subjects from a Christian perspective. He will provide you with some weekly strategies and advice to improve in all areas of your life (Faith, Family, Fitness, Finances). Here is his first episode to hear what he is all about.
For the past few years, I’ve listened to numerous podcasts. Kris is doing great work. His podcasts are not too long and there are only a couple per week. He is easy to understand and the thoughts he shares are easy to provide. This will certainly help you to have an I CAN DO attitude. And to Excel Still More.
I CAN DO…SO CAN YOU.
Let’s go.
