“Learn and Earn.” Just read this quote in a book I’m reading with my son (Way of the Warrior Kid) by Jocko Willink.
I like it. Do you? If you want to grow in life, you must learn. Read. Then read some more.
Then you must put it into action. It’s not enough to merely read. You must grow. You must put in the work. You must earn it.
My motto is “I CAN DO.” To have an “I CAN DO” mindset, we will have to Learn and then Earn. Go get it.
I’m reminded of Private Ryan, when Tom Hank’s dying character says to Ryan “Earn it.” We need to earn what we learn. Knowledge gained without application is useless bits and bytes embedded in our skull.
